Training, siting and construction of shallow wells in North-West Kenya

ADC (African Divine Church) Kenya is planning to construct shallow handdug wells in small villages in the district Sabatia, Kakamega North, Uasin Gishu, Teso, Siaya and West Pokot. During this project the local technicians of ADC are trained in the siting, construction and maintenance of the wells and handpumps.

This report presents the results of hydrogeological and geophysical investigations to evaluate groundwater resources for Wambandu Primary School - Wambandu in Emuhaya district, Vihiga County, Kenya. The borehole will be used to supply water to the School and surrounding community, thus supplementing water from springs and roof catchment in the area.
