Water management and rainwater harvesting Don Bosco

SamSamWater supervises two Dutch university students on their graduation project at the Don Bosco Technical Youth Institute in Lilongwe, Malawi.
This institute is one of the largest schools in Malawi and offers a wide range of technical training at various levels. The school has insufficient knowledge about civil engineering and water management.
As part of a project of Edukans (a foundation dedicated in developing education), the two students will support the school on some issues, e.g.:
  • designing a rainwater harvesting system at the school campus;
  • designing a drainage system for stormwater at the school campus;
  • setting up a water management scheme for agricultural purposes.
